By October 2018 I had spent just over 4 years working at DK (Dorling Kindersley), a very lovely, non-fiction book publisher in London. As sad as I was to leave, I was ready to move back up to Yorkshire and settle down closer to my family.
After our trip to New Zealand, I became a freelance editor and proofreader. In addition to freelance work, I joined the creative team at the greetings card company Card Factory as a Junior Editor, in July 2019.
As well as working at DK Books, within the non-fiction publishing industry, for four years I have also completed a number of writing and editing qualifications.
Intermediate member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).
First class honours in BA (Hons) Creative Writing and Film Studies.
